A strong weekend at Foxhill ended with a season-best seventh overall. Things finally came together from Saturday onwards, as I scored my first qualifying points of the season and followed that up with two solid races on Sunday.

I started the weekend with 14th in Free Practice and 12th in Time Practice. I felt better as Saturday progressed, and everything really clicked in the Qualifying Race.
After a good start, I held fourth position for a long time. Towards the end, Tim Gajser and Jeffrey Herlings came through strongly from behind, and I eventually crossed the finish line in sixth. This gave me my first qualifying points of the season.
It felt incredibly good to finally turn around the difficult run of results and feel that both my speed and confidence were returning.
In the first race on Sunday, I came through the opening lap in around 11th position. I lacked a little intensity during the first few laps, but gradually found a better rhythm and started moving forward. On lap 13, I set my fastest lap of the race and worked my way up to eighth.
On the final lap, I was fighting for seventh when I suffered a technical problem. Unfortunately, this cost me one position, and I crossed the finish line in ninth.
In Race 2, I started in 10th position. This time, I rode consistently well throughout the race and managed to work my way up to eighth at the finish.
With 9–8 results, I finished seventh overall—my best GP result of the season so far. It was a solid points haul and a weekend with plenty of positives. I’m happy with my riding on such a difficult track and especially pleased that everything finally came together throughout the whole weekend.
