- Overall: 14th
A challenging weekend at Terra Topia ended with 14th overall after 11th and 16th in the two races. Saturday was difficult, but seventh in Sunday’s warm-up showed better speed. I came close to the top ten in the opening race, while the second race did not go the way I wanted.

It was a special experience to race in South Africa as the MXGP World Championship returned to the country for the first time in 18 years.
Saturday was a challenging day. Racing at altitude meant the bike had less power than usual, and it took some time to find the right setup and feeling. I finished 16th in both free practice and time practice before taking another 16th place in the qualifying race.
We made some changes overnight, and Sunday started much more positively. I felt better on the bike during warm-up and set the seventh-fastest time, which gave me confidence heading into the races.
In the first race, I rode a solid moto and spent most of it around the edge of the top ten. I eventually crossed the finish line in 11th place, just missing out on another top-ten result.
The second race was more difficult. I never managed to find the same rhythm and feeling as in the morning, and I finished 16th. The 11–16 results gave me 14th overall for the Grand Prix.
It was not the result I travelled to South Africa for, but it was still a memorable experience to visit a new country and race in front of the South African fans. We will take what we learned from the weekend and keep working ahead of the next round.
Thank you to everyone who continues to support me!
